Mrs. Mirosława Ciechowska has been one of the cofounders of the International European School.
She is the citizen of Poland and of the United States.
She is a graduate of the Mathematics, Information Technology and Mechanics department of the University of Warsaw. She lived in the United States of America from 1989 to 1999, where she worked as a lecturer of English as a Foreign Language and of mathematics at the Area Cooperative Educational Services in New Haven, Connecticut.

She worked as a lecturer of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin. Mrs Mira also taught mathematics at The British School of Warsaw, where she prepared students for IGCSE British exams. On the 1st of July 2005 she was appointed the Headmistress of International European School * Warsaw.
