High School Year 1 Programme
|
|
Students of High School 1 will be encouraged to study at least six prospective IB DP subjects and take five to eight international British examinations IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).
Students choose at least one subject from every subject group. Students may take a second subject from Groups 2-4 instead of a subject from Group 6.
An ambitious and able student may also choose to study 1-2 additional subjects from Groups 2-4.

CAS - Creativity, Action, Service

Creativity and Action requirements may be met by means of attending PE classes (the school offers 2
hours per week of swimming classes), extracurricular classes or an additional subject from Groups 2-4.
Service involves working for either the School or the local community.

If the number of students wishing to take a particular subject is insufficient the school may withdraw it from offer.
